## Our Origin & Scientific Leadership

Galaxy Diagnostics was founded to solve one of medicine’s most persistent problems: diagnosing stealth pathogens that often go undetected by traditional tests.

With scientific roots in _Bartonella_ research, we’ve grown to address a broader range of complex pathogens through innovations like:

- Digital PCR for up to 10x greater sensitivity for _Borrelia, Babesia, and Bartonella_
- Urine testing detects Lyme _Borrelia_ in the early stages, without relying on an antibody response and helps determine ongoing infection in chronically ill patients.
- Culture-based detection and clinical relevance of _Bartonella_ IFA Panel covering 4 clinically relevant species, including _B. koehlerae_
